or the bank from foreigners' standpoints.
The contents are :
open a deposit account, to withdraw, remit amoney in a bank, to convert the foreign currency, to pay the bill, to apply for a credit card, and the ATM system.
It provides authentic situation and useful dialogues. For the services offer in post offices or banks in Chinese areas, and it has a general introduction as well.
This is also one of the flexible and fun materials that I'm using in my class to CERTAIN LEVEL students.

SMART Mandarin Material~ Chinese Master Series 漢語大師
Main Material for Learning Chinese with Katrina~~
Chinese Master Series
Instead of using "THE bible" PAVC, I've decided now using Chinese Master as my main material
for teaching Mandarin.
I've found Chinese Master is easier and more convenient for teachers and foreign students cuz it only has one unified pinyin, traditional Chinese characters,and the structure,grammar are very clear in each lesson.
I'll be working on doing the class curriculum as soon as possible for my potential students to see as
a reference but the curriculum will not be shown on this blog, for my potential students who wish to see the curriculum or have a better understanding of my class need to contact me first and then i'll explain my class explicitly during the prior-class interviews.

Chinese Loan Words in the English Language
There are few English words with a Chinese origin. Most of these loan words refer to Chinese objects and concepts such as feng shui and coolie. However, a few, such as gung ho and tycoon have evolved into mainstream usage. Many of the Chinese loan words made into the English language as pronounced in the Cantonese or Amoy dialect because the early contact between the two cultures happened along the southern Chinese ports of call or through the mostly Cantonese immigrants. In addition many of the Japanese words, such as judo or shinto, that were adopted into the English language have a Chinese origin.
